I think today is day 25 here. We thought Donnie would be in the hospital for a few days, a week at most. We never dreamed he would be here a month. He has had a rough few days. They finally seem to have his pain under better control but he is pretty heavily sedated most of the time. please continue to pray that this radiation will ease his pain so he can go home where he wants to be.

My thoughts are with you and all of the family. I trust that Donnie is feeling less pain today and that the radiation will soon take effect and reduce his discomfort. Did he have that stent after? I'm wondering if he might be allergic to some of the meds? If his liver functions are high, the liver cannot process some meds as it usually would do. Just a suggestion, as I know it did happen to my husband and brought him terrible nausea, pain and discomfort. The doctors did not figure it out until several days later.
